Casey had a great night and the contractions have stopped. Basically, she was experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions, but way too early in the game to be taken lightly. They are sending her home later this morning with instructions for strict bed rest until the babies arrive. The contractions are expected to continue from time to time so we are officially on pins and needles from here on out. When the contractions become noticeably more painful and increase in regularity, we’ll be headed back to the hospital. I imagine this won’t be our last overnight stay before she is admitted long term.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and concern! It really is fascinating to see how people have rallied around Casey in prayer during these times of uncertainty.
God bless,
Ethan

I'm so glad everything is ok. Bedrest sucks, but it will be so worth it!! I had a weird dream last nite after reading your status. Y'all were in it but... I don't remember and I'm sure you care. ;) Anyway... I'm so happy to hear the news. I checked facebook 1st thing this morning for an update. Thanks for keeping everyone updated.
Hi Guys!
Hang in there! I have a good friend who just had quints as well. She went in the hospital long term at 18 weeks and held the babies till 30 1/2 weeks. You will do it too! God did not bring you this far for nothing! I will constantly lift you up in prayer now that I know what is going on with you all! Casey....stay strong and keep that positive spirit! And Ethan...you are doing an awesome job keeping up informed! Look up the HowellQuintuplets when you get a chance....they have a blog as well and it might give you a little insight! Ellen is great and would gladly talk with you if you want! Love yall! God bless,
Amanda
I am thinking about you guys and keeping you both in my prayers. Everything is going to work out perfectly! The bambinos are incredibly lucky to have you guys as parents.
Hang in there,

Hey Guys!
I caught wind of your story through a prayer chain here in Denton. My mom sent it to me. What an amazing story you all have! I have spent hours on your blog site "catching up". You guys only deserve the very best! My family will be praying for you guys each and every step of the way. Thanks for the updates/pictures/etc. That is a task in itself to keep up with! Great to see your smiling faces!

Hi Guys,
So glad things calmed down and you were able to go home! You just say the word and we will do your full maternity session!! I will do whatever it takes to accommodate your schedule to get this done for you as soon as we can!!!
God Bless you all,
Tracey Taylor
Casey I know its been 15 yrs but I feel God brings people back into your life for a reason! I went through something similar with my twins. I had to do the terbutaline injections and be put on the Magnesium Sulfate for 48 hrs.(man that room got HOT) Then on strict bedrest and have the monitoring system at home. If you ever have any ? I know it's a different ball game with 5 but I am here. You are in my prayers!
